Director, Community Operations Services

Led operating models for integrated community, hospitality, retail, transport and accommodation services supporting a rapidly growing population. Full P&L oversight, including budgets, CAPEX planning and forecasting, with service standards, governance frameworks and KPIs across a multi-site operation, and pre-opening and mobilisation planning across several development phases.

Head of Hospitality

Led the design, development and delivery of the event's Hospitality Programme across venues, residential assets and F&B. Developed SLA frameworks, pricing structures and operating standards, and took them from planning through to live operation in line with commercial targets and quality standards.

  • Baku 2017: Head of Village Management. Athletes' Village from strategic planning to delivery, against the Venue Integration Plan.
  • Baku 2015: Venue General Manager. Village operational planning, Games-time communication plan and deliverables tracking.
  • Glasgow 2014: Venue General Manager. Satellite Villages and the Village Operations Centre at Games time.

Revenue forecasting and budgeting, meetings and events sales, multi-year banqueting contracts, and rate and occupancy management in city-centre and resort hotels.

About

Senior experience, engaged directly

Holland Management Consulting FZCO is my independent practice, registered in the United Arab Emirates and based in Dubai.

I have spent more than 20 years delivering hospitality, accommodation and event operations in the UK, Europe, the USA and the GCC, most recently leading hospitality for a global mega-event in Dubai and community operations for a giga-project in Saudi Arabia.

That work sits where strategy meets live operation: turning a masterplan or event concept into service models, budgets, standards and teams that perform under pressure. I now bring that experience to developers, operators and event organisers facing the same decisions.

I keep my client list deliberately small. Every engagement is led by me from first conversation to handover, and is never passed to a junior colleague.
